Like paper coloring books, iPhone and iPad apps cost money. It's always fun to
have the newest, shiniest app in the App Store - but those come with a price.
Oftentimes they cost something, and they may not always ring true with your
kid. Buying too many apps can add up, making for an unhappy dent on a parent's
credit card bill. So what's a parent to do?

like a coloring book that has been filled up. And in this way, the disposable

Seriously, do not try to get fancy with this app. Like MSPaint, it offers you

How / What do I use to finish my uneven mosaic coaster?
I have made mosaic coasters using stained Glass Scraps. I am very happy with them, the grout and the colors turned out perfect. Here is the problem: because the glass was different thicknesses the top surface of the coaster is not flat. I want to 'finish' them with something that will even out the surface as well as seal the grout and a little shine wouldnt be a bad idea either. Everything i have tried leaves brush strokes. My most recent attempt was using 'triple thick'. Looks beautiful, but peels right off and not 'flat'. HELP!
I don't think there is any good way, the only possibilities is to make a mold to cast resin in which just fits your coaster and put your coaster into the mold after the resin so the top surface will be resin (if you didn't trap any bubbles).
The other option would be to use a large Glass Grinder which you could find in a glass studio and laboriously grind it flat.
There is also some resin which is designed to give a thick protective layer to tabletops, I don't know how well that would work for you, it probably won't make the surface entirely even, but might level it out a bit.
I wouldn't really worry about it and leave them as they are. When you make a coaster the next time, make it "face down" which means you put the glass on a flat surface and put some grout or adhesive on top of it, and then the cement board or whatever you are using as a support.
Or a better way would be to glue every piece of glass on a piece of paper resting on a flat surface arranging your pattern also reverse. You would use a water soluble glue. Then you could take the piece of paper and put it down onto your surface containing some grout. That also should allow the surface to stay flat.
Not sure if the description is clear enough, but you could also check it out in some books about mosaics from the library. Some will describe this technique using also images.
